The energy of the Scorpion that will be on the rise this weekend is one of high emotions, deep passions and profound intuitions. This is a time when secrets come to light, when deeply held emotions bubble to the surface and when revelations startle at every turn.

Take a breath, prepare to be dazzled and surprised as new realities unfold. The energies of the moon will be encouraging deep soul searching and momentous discoveries but also easily hurt feelings. We will all be a little sensitive, a touch overly emotional and somewhat driven to passionate declarations. We may be quick to say something without thinking of how it will be taken and at the same time easily hurt by the things that other people say.

Over the next few days it is important to maintain as much objectivity as you can and not feel hurt or slighted by someone else’s words. It is important that we be kind to each other and mindful of the way we are speaking. We may find new paradigms, shifting perspective and changing ideas blooming to consciousness but we need to take a few moments to process through how best to communicate our newfound understandings in a loving way.

The New Moon is a time for bringing our dreams into reality, manifesting, setting new goals and creating intentions. The vibration of the sign of Taurus is stable, practical, loving, and fruitful. This is a good time to start new projects or move in a different direction. It is also a great time for communicating new ideas, perspectives or suggesting changes. Just be mindful to not go too far too fast and to be mindful of your own abilities. It is particularly important to be aware of our limitations and not push ourselves beyond to a place of overdoing it. Move, shift, grow and change; but at your own pace.

I discussed some of the basic on the phenomenon “… we are here on this planet to learn. We are here to evolve our spirit. We are here to experience life in the physical to facilitate the lessons necessary for that evolution into enlightenment.” and why a spirit would want to be in a human form.

“…  humans have hormones and brain chemicals and pheromones and impulses and needs and desires and instincts and all of this flavors and colors our experiences in a way that is uniquely human.

And lets not discount the truly human experience of interacting with another human. Looking at someone you love, seeing their love for you reflected back. The adrenaline rush of fighting with someone who really gets under your skin. Holding your baby and smelling that intoxicating new baby smell. Passionately touching your lover’s body. The heartbreak of unrequited love. The zing through your body as you hit your funny bone in just the right way. The grief of losing someone close to your heart. Laughing with your friends so hard that your tummy hurts. You can’t do that as a spirit. You can’t connect to another being in the same way and fashion as you can when you are in this physical form.

There are a million different lessons a being could come to learn and experience. Lessons dealing with violence, creativity, addiction, ecstasy, depression, loss, power struggles, slavery, joy, fear, love. The list is as endless as a human beings capacity to feel and experience. How lovely is that synchronicity?”

Sometimes people think that reincarnation is a punishment, you didn’t do it right so you are sent back to try again. The perspective that I have been given is that life on this planet, in these physical forms is a gift. Every opportunity that we have to be here, every moment that we get to experience life is a treasure. Wether your experience is traumatic or joyous, full of abundance or loss; your spirit is evolving. We chose to come to experience life in a uniquely human way so that our souls can become even greater. Recycling IS good for the soul!

Be aware that people (including yourself) may be quick to anger, a little controlling and prone to volatile emotional outbursts. Take a moment of reflection before voicing any displeasure, frustration or trying to take control of a situation. Remember the astrological influences that people are experiencing before taking anything too personally. Stay out of stressful situations that might put an unnecessary strain on you.

You may experience a feeling that you must act, right now! Try channeling this energy into exercise or physical activity so it won’t get bottled up.  This will be an excellent weekend to tackle some laborious chore you have been meaning to get to. Or hiking the Appalachia trail. Or finally pull your bike out of storage. Be mindful that there will be a slight edge of mania in the air as Mars prepares to move forward again and just try to breathe through it and use it to your advantage if you can. 

The Moon in equalizing Libra has the energy of diplomacy and sharing but sometimes this can become the self-sacrifice and martyrdom. The Sun in boisterous Aries focuses on authenticity over tact and encourages independent action-oriented efforts however this can at times become an entirely self-involved energy that promotes acting as a bully. The Full Moon illuminates this conflict and encourages us to find balance between these opposite forces as well as within the energies themselves. 

We are challenged at this time to look at our closest relationships and make sure we are not leaning too far towards one extreme or the other. Are you being supportive or taken advantage of? Do you feel valued or dismissed? Have your actions been for the betterment of all or for selfish reasons? Is your selfishness justified in feeding your true spirit? Is your giving nature diminishing or nourishing your inner self?

I will be sharing some of my own personal experiences with past life memories as well as discussing some of the themes associated with this phenomenon and leading a short meditation. This is truly an honor for me and I am so very excited to share with this wonderful community. I often tap into the fairy energy during a reiki treatment as many people respond to their joyous and carefree vibe. The nature of the fairy is curious, playful, mysterious, mischievous and of course magical. I also rely on the Fae to find things for me, their natural curiosity makes them excellent seekers. They also delight in moving my things around and reminding me that nothing is ever truly lost. And I can always count on them to lead me to the very best outdoor meditation spots.

All in all I suppose it is an even exchange. I lose out on a little sleep but I am also gifted with the presences of these mystical beings. They help me maintain my positive outlook, youthful energy and delight in the mysterious. And we all need a little (or maybe even a lot) of magic in our lives.

Today it is officially Spring a time of renewal, re-birth and fresh beginnings. Thursday the New Moon rises in the fiery sign of Aries encouraging heroic, revolutionary and assertive action. Since both Mars and Mercury are in retrograde this shifts the normally impetuous ram into a more introspective and practical stance. This moon can still support you in taking risks and being courageous in your decision making, just be sure to double, triple even quadruple check-in with how you are really feeling.

It is vital to not be hasty in your decision making and make sure you are certain of your feelings before moving into action. The energies of this week will be encouraging us to make bold moves, change our course and shift our stance just try to avoid being reactive or letting yourself be unduly influenced by emotional whims. The theme for the time being is one of uncertainty, upheaval, fluctuation and change. We are being encouraged to re-imagine our path, re-evaluate and allow ourselves to change our minds. It’s okay to shift your ideals and decide on a new goal; go ahead and take that big leap just take a moment to make sure you understand what you are getting into.
