Seems Like Soon… Maybe Sooner

One of the things that I struggle with the most is understanding the passage of time when doing a reading. I cannot tell you how often I find myself saying to a client “It will happen soon.” and then they want me to be more specific. A month? 7 months? A year? And I… well, I really have no clear idea. It just feels like… soon.

I think it is related to the fact that time is merely a construct of our human brains, the way our bodies process and organize information so that we can better understand it. Combined with the fact that time changes speed depending on the experience and our emotional state. Add to this that my sources (my spirit guides and the guides of my clients that I am working with) reside on a plane of existence where time runs differently and that they are so often encouraging us to have faith, it is no wonder that I have a hard time getting more specific.

I will see something happening and sometimes get a feel for the season and therefore be able to figure out the timing. Or, as I focus on the event I will get a sense that it will be a while before it happens, there will be a feeling of it being in the distance. I may even receive a word, sometimes it will be the name of a month but  more often it is the dreaded ‘soon’ when I ask for a time frame or even ‘later’. Unfortunately, I generally have only a vague sense of the timing of things and can rarely get very specific. My guides do say that this will change but I refuse to ask when.
