Since this is the last lunation of 2014 we may find ourselves a touch nostalgic & in a reminiscent mood in addition to the usual ‘lunacy’ of strong emotions. As curious Gemini counters philosophical Sagittarius, analytical understandings balance intuitive knowledge & we are asked to blend what we know with what we feel to determine our best direction.

With the Gemini/Sagittarius focus on knowledge/understanding this weekend becomes a perfect time to make assessments in preparation for the transformation into the New Year. Journalling, coaching, meditation, prayer & divination are all excellent modalities for assessing where we are vs where we are going & where we want to make adjustments. Take an honest, unbiased & clear look at how you feel, what you have accomplished, where you are headed & allow yourself to be guided through any shifts to move closer to your goals by the light of the MOON.

Remember to be kind, loving & compassionate with yourself, transformation is tough work! Stay heart centered (feeling Sagittarius) with an objective (knowing Gemini) stance but stay away from judgement. Focus on recognizing where & how you want to make changes to take advantage of the energies that are abundant now without falling into blaming or assigning fault.

It is hard to change, to take an honest accounting & recognize when we need to shift but we are supported in this lunation to be inspired in what we need to do. No matter how conscious or subconscious or unconscious our habits, traditions or programing may be; when you are ready for change you are ready! And boy are we ready!! For real change, for fundamental shifts not just as individuals but as a culture in the 21 century. Tumultuous times abound now as our society as a whole takes a closer look at the status quo & prevailing biases in search of fairness, equality & freedom for EVERYONE. We are all deserving to feel confident of who we are & know we are free to walk our path.
