New Libra Moon

Thursday October 19, 2017 we will be blessed with a New Moon in Libra, the sign of relationships & balance. As the Moon shifts above us we are given an opportunity to shift within ourselves, refining our focus, our priorities, & our cooperative efforts through new perspectives & unexpected discoveries. Under this influence we crave harmony & peace which we seek through thoughtful pruning & careful cultivation.

A very important Libra ‘lesson’ involves learning to come to terms with those around us & with our less than wonderful relationships. To be able to recognize that “difficulties” sometimes serve a bigger purpose within our story while also acknowledging that some people are better off at a distance from us, no matter how much we love them. The energy of this lunation is very supportive in helping us establish a sense of order & balance in our lives through releasing what no longer serves us & recognizing what truly does benefit. As I like to say, “Some people I prefer to love from a distance”.

Libra revels in the synthesizing of opposites so we are encouraged to see the value in our partnerships & we are asked to find success through collaboration. We seek harmony by recognizing where to make adjustments, shift our perspective to appreciate the relationships that are in our life & to see how they ultimately empower us in our pursuits. Remember, you don’t have the ability to change the way another person behaves, you only have the ability to change the way you choose to react & how you perceive the outcome.

This is a time when we are blessed with finding that our challenges are actually blessings in disguise. Your destiny is in your hands, your goals are within your grasp, your success is in your choices. Re-balance by shifting your view of your life & the people in it, you might just find you have everything you need in the light of the Libra New Moon.
