Blue Libra Full Moon
On March 31, 2018 we will be blessed with the rising of a Blue Moon in the sign of sensible Libra counter balanced by the Sun in passionate Aries. This axis is one focused on our partnerships & has quiet a few tricky influences that will bring all of our relationships into sharp focus. Mercury’s ongoing retrograde will be encouraging us to look back & dig deep into any buried traumas so they can be mindfully reflected on, re-contextualized & repaired.
Libra seeks harmony, beauty, peace & strong connections with others. Fiery Aries desires adventure, excitement, is independent & somewhat self centered. We may feel conflicted about our feelings & swept up by our emotions as we teeter between the needs of self & the needs of others. We are being asked to reassess our interpersonal skills to make sure that we are having healthy, reciprocal exchanges. Patience is likely to be in short supply over this weekend so don’t be surprised if we find ourselves boxed in, pushed up to our limit (or even beyond) & in other ways asked to reaffirm just how much we are willing to put up with.
A relationship is a give AND a take, what you receive may not look exactly like what you are giving but you should be getting something in return. Aries will help you feel confident while Libra will encourage you to be compassionate. In balance, these two energies can be a powerful force for strengthening your interactions & re-enforcing your boundaries. Remember that this lunation is about getting you to develop & maintain healthy engagements; sometimes that means leaving, sometimes that means staying & sometimes that means renegotiating the rules.
The key to this moon is being as objective as you can, keeping the lines of communication open while allowing yourself to navigate through the emotional clutter to recognize what can be purged from what is vital. Use your tools like reiki, meditation, the Four Agreements & breathing through your heart chakra to keep yourself centered. Crystals like Hematite, Rose Quartz, & Turquoise will be wonderful allies to help you through any challenging situations. If you do find yourself confused or overwhelmed by what you are feeling, take a step back & try not to let the impulsive Aries energy get the better of you. And you don’t have to go it alone!
